Roy has a very lighthearted and carefree disposition that tends to border on immaturity. He is generally amiable and easygoing with a strong sense of loyalty to his comrades--much more apparent in the thick of battle where his guidance and intel is relied upon. As a soldier, he is strict, determined, and adopts a sort of “it’s all about the mission; get it done” philosophy that overshadows his childish tendencies. Even so, he is not above growing impatient and moody when things do not go according to plan, and he can be very quick to lose his temper. Whilst not heartless by any means, he is not one to dwell upon or show regret for an extended period of time. He is constantly moving forward, which leaves very little room to lament over past deeds. This does not mean he is incapable of feeling down every now and then, however; at his worst, he can be pessimistic and apathetic to a degree of hopelessness, and any depression on his part is usually quiet to the point of introversion. As far as quirks and miscellaneous traits go, Roy can be remarkably persuasive and more than a little bit of a perv. He is fond of psychology and applying various principles as techniques for wooing attractive women, considering himself to be an expert of sorts when it comes to romance. His signature persistence is just as strong in his love life as it is in his military duties, and he approaches both with equal dedication. | |
